Your Inner Animal

Sharing is Loving

Emotional needs and reactions of your body need to be acknowledged and comforted. Somatic responses of the body are the domain of what I call your inner animal. So, make yourself a cup of tea, wrap a big blanket around yourself, play some gentle music, and discover what kind of animal you are. What does your inner animal need? Security comfort, play time, peace, and pleasurable experiences, what are its needs?

Your Inner Animal

Whatever your inner animal shares, is it 100% true? For example, my sacrum would go painfully out of balance whenever I moved apartments. My inner animal felt unsupported. But in fact, I was supported by friends and even strangers who helped me over the years to move from apartment to apartment. I seemed to do this every four or five years for a while.

And this gets to someplace interesting. We tell ourselves lies to keep ourselves small or to recapitulate old realities. Are you ready for the new Truth?

Some people work with their inner child because of their emotional wounds. But if you are one of those people who somaticize, have physical symptoms, pay attention to your inner animal.

Do You Need

Do you need support? I work with women from 28-55 years old who are in challenging, changing life situations and have physical symptoms. The Body Being & Heart therapeutic to wellness is body centered. So, if you have an injury or condition like chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia or perhaps a concussion or chronic headaches. I address the structural issues with gentle light touch techniques which include CranioSacral Therapy, Vibrational Acupuncture, Somatic Education and intuitive energetic approaches like Chakra Balancing and Reiki.

I also assist you in dialoging with your body with SomatoEmotional Release so you can contact your inner animal.

Stress

You are more than the mind in your brain. And by the way you have a gut brain with more neurons than your brain-brain. You have backup systems in your body like your neuro-endocrine system which reacts to stress instantly. There may not be a tiger in the room but you may be responding as if there were.
