Is Your Brain in Good Shape? Or do you have brain fog, anxiety or memory issues beyond the occasional senior moment?
I am writing today’s blog because I have had an uptick in young men with dopamine deficiencies, leading to acute anxiety, sleeplessness and brain fog. They are young, they are men, so they are countering it by going to the gym. Yes, exercise supports dopamine production…screen-time not so much. And no, exercise is not enough. Both of the young men are not into taking medication…or even supplements…I do hope they continue with sessions.
My clients are mostly anxious women or women in transition who have physical symptoms. Young men are a rarity. I am concerned.
How CranioSacral Therapy Supports Dopamine and Brain Balance
What can I do for these young people? I can rebalance their neurotransmitters for better harmony and balance in their brain function.
CranioSacral Therapy amplifies deep relaxation and better flow of fluids which bring nutriments to the brain. I can teach these guys any number of stress reduction techniques including my current favorite, Battlefield Acupuncture using the cranio-sacral rhythm. This particular acupuncture pattern alleviates stress and pain. These hands-on techniques integrate beautifully with energy-based approaches to brain rebalancing, which work at the same subtle levels to restore harmony and flow.
Another favorite, which I teach in my YouTube videos, is breathing into your lower abdomen, which calms the Vagus nerve responsible for stress hormones. Explore vagus nerve breathing for brain balance to go deeper into how this practice supports your nervous system.
Neurotransmitter Rebalancing for Stress, Concussion, and Brain Health
You may not have a dopamine deficiency, but rebalancing your neurotransmitters and harmonizing them so they work well together may be very helpful if you are stressed, have had a brain concussion or early onset of brain dysfunction. If concussion is part of your story, you may find it helpful to explore how CST treats concussion and why it can be so effective for recovery.
Developing new helpful habits takes time and repetition, yet I am often amazed at how quickly CranioSacral Therapy (CST) has a positive impact. Whether you are a stressed-out woman, have a young child with developmental issues or an infant who was not born vaginally but with forceps or Cesarean….CST can create positive lifelong outcomes. If you’re curious about how this works in practice, exploring an integrative CranioSacral Therapy approach can help you understand the full scope of what’s possible.
CranioSacral Therapy, Advanced CST and Brain Therapy are foundation approaches used in Body Being & Heart, Healing for Body and Spirit. These approaches align with the growing field of bioelectric medicine and brain health, which explores how the body’s electrical systems underpin healing and neurological balance.
The Fact Is…
The fact is…the therapies mentioned above affect your whole body and so many of its functions. They affect your nervous system. For those drawn to a more energetic dimension of healing, vibrational energy healing for brain health works beautifully alongside these therapies to support whole-body harmony.
Whole-Body Healing That Goes Beyond Conventional Therapy
Your body is the focal point of your NOW. In fact, every cell in your body is conscious. If you are experiencing unwanted symptoms from stress, injury or from an unknown source, you may want to explore a natural alternative to conventional healing, which goes beyond massage or talk therapy and addresses your issues at their core. Just saying…Body Being & Heart takes you there!
Sending calm, peace, and a good night’s sleep,
