CranioSacral Therapy Plus

Sharing is Loving

CranioSacral Plus combines a traditional approach with newer techniques to help your body and brain function in harmony!

What Is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, powerful, light-touch approach that creates an environment of wellness for the whole body and can include somatic dialogue with your body’s stuck emotions. This integration of body awareness and emotional release is at the heart of somatic and body-centered healing approaches.

CST alleviates anxiety, concussions and headaches, restores function to bones and membranes of the cranium and spinal cord. It improves structural imbalances and neuro-muscular function throughout the body. For those recovering from head injuries, this work is especially relevant—learn more about concussion treatment and brain recovery through CranioSacral Therapy.

CST also helps with early developmental autistic spectrum issues, learning, memory loss and onset of dementia.

Need I say it alleviates anxiety, increases relaxation and alleviates chronic issues like TMJ, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Scoliosis, and Chronic Back and Neck pain.

How I Use CranioSacral Therapy Plus in Practice

I especially use CranioSacral Therapy Plus for alleviating concussions, trauma and anxiety in my clients. CranioSacral Therapy is parasympathetic, rest and digest. It is very useful for women in transition in life-changing and challenging situations. CST is calming and supports your inner wisdom. For those navigating trauma, this calming, body-centred approach is a powerful foundation—explore how CranioSacral Therapy for PTSD recovery can open unexpected pathways to healing. This parasympathetic shift is deeply connected to vagus nerve activation through breath and cranial rhythm—two forces that work together to restore balance from the inside out.

Understanding the Sea of Chi and Cranial Rhythm

Cranial fluid surrounds the brain and spinal cord and is known as the Sea of Chi. The Body Being & Heart approach integrates unwinding the meridians with Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Chinese Acupuncture Principles. To understand how cranial rhythm works within the body and brain, explore CranioSacral Therapy and cranial rhythm explained.

You can easily experience the Sea of Chi in this very moment. Just rub your hands together. After you get them good and warm, feel the energy between your hands. It feels as if you are holding a cloud. Then place your hands about 3-6 inches away from your head. You will notice a gentle, energetic push from your head to your hands outward. And then feel your hands being drawn slightly inwards. The rhythm is one of a slow waltz. This subtle exchange of energy between your body and hands is a beautiful entry point into understanding energy healing frequencies and cranial rhythm. What you are feeling with your palms is your craniosacral rhythm.

Once you have accomplished this, notice the back of your hands feel a rhythm. This is the craniosacral rhythm of the universe. Allow the rhythm in the palms of your hands and on the back of your hands to come into harmony. You have now balanced Your Sea of Chi with the Universal Sea of Chi. Enjoy! This practice is just the beginning—discover how to work with energy as medicine beyond cranial rhythm to deepen your healing journey.

What CranioSacral Therapy Plus Adds: Brain Therapy and Somatic Release

Body Being & Heart Sessions also integrates Brain Therapy, developed by Dr. Bruni Chickly.  This approach includes attuning to structures within the brain to increase balance and function.

In addition, Touching the Brain techniques work with the glia in the body and gut brain. Glia are the cleanup crews for nerve cells, providing nutrients and carrying away debris. This body-centred awareness is also the foundation of SomatoEmotional Release and body storytelling—a process where the body’s own narrative guides the healing journey.

Let’s not forget about dialogue with your body. In CST, this is called SomatoEmotional Release. Talking with your body can be liberating, emotional and goes beyond talk therapy. It is a way to allow your mind to let go of control and listen to your deeper needs, both physical and emotional. For those who have found words alone insufficient, this work offers what I explore more deeply in SomatoEmotional Release beyond traditional therapy.

Come, have a session or come, join or take even one course of the Body Being & Heart Program, not only to experience it yourself but discover how you can share this extraordinary healing modality…plus.
